Megan Otis Masonholder, J.D.

Megan’s practice has a significant emphasis in employment law matters.  She represents employers of all sizes, both public and private, and assists employers with policy drafting and auditing, regulatory and statutory compliance, drafting and reviewing employment related contracts, internal investigations, and all areas of human resources.  Megan is a speaker for human resources groups and provides group training for employers. Megan also enjoys providing legal advice and services to many of her non-profit clients.

Since joining Skagit Law Group, PLLC, Megan has extensively developed her practice in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate settlement.

Megan graduated cum laude from Western Washington University and with honors from the University of Washington School of Law.  She is admitted to the Washington State Bar as well as the United States Federal Courts and belongs to both the Skagit County and Snohomish County bar associations.

Megan began her legal career in 1999 at Anderson Hunter law firm in Everett, where she became a senior shareholder in the litigation department and served on that firm’s management committee for several years before deciding to bring her legal practice home to the valley.  While at Anderson Hunter, Megan’s practice focused primarily on litigation, and she became an experienced trial attorney focusing on commercial, employment, and insurance defense matters.

A Skagit Valley native, Megan was raised in La Conner where she and her husband, Brian, a Mount Vernon High School graduate, are raising their two young children. You may see her family up and down the Skagit River along with their Labrador Retriever.
